The Princeton man accused of reporting a false bomb threat in December was arraigned in Bureau County court yesterday. 24-year old Kristofer Watson pleaded NOT guilty to the Class 3 felony of disorderly conduct. Watson was arrested last Wednesday night for allegedly calling the Americ-Inn in Princeton on December 10th with a bomb threat against Burger King. The arrest by the Princeton Police Department came as they were investigating another bomb threat from earlier that evening that forced the evacuation of three nearby restaurants. Police confirm Watson is also a suspect in that case, but has not been charged yet as it’s still under investigation. If convicted of the December 10th incident, his sentence could range from probation to a five-year prison sentence and $10,000 fine. Watson remains in the Bureau County Jail on $50,000 bond.
