Plenty of races in LaSalle County

In LaSalle County, Sheriff Tom Templeton faces a challenge from Officer Rodney Hampton of the Somonauk Police Department. Five seats on the LaSalle County Board are up for grabs, including Republican Bob Vickrey trying to hold off Democrat Art Rigby. Republican Susan Thornton is challenged by Democrat Joe Panzica. Incumbent Democrat Tom Gainiere opposes Republican David Smith. Democrat incumbent Rick Scott takes on Republican challenger Michael Sheridan and Democrat challenger Gordon Nourie is challenging incumbent Republican Arratta Znaniecki.
