Absentee Ballots Will Decide Governor's Race

 

It's unclear exactly when the Illinois governor's race will be officially decided. Incumbent Democrat Pat Quinn currently leads Republican Bill Brady by a few thousand votes. But thousands of absentee ballots remain uncounted, and could ultimately decide the race. Quinn told supporters last night that he is confident he will retain the office. Brady also told supporters that he thinks he'll eventually be declared the winner.
