Three candidates can look forward to their time on the Putnam County Board, but one failed to make the panel in very close voting Tuesday. In a 4-way battle for three seats, Duane Calbow was top vote-getter with 1385 followed by Chauntelle Biagi-Bru with 1365. The final seat was taken by Democrat John O’Neill, who edged out Republican James Gibson, 1211 votes to 1183, a difference of just 28 votes. Sheriff Kevin Doyle ran unopposed and received 2079 votes. Putnam County had a voter turnout of just over 50 percent.
