Princeton sales tax revenue increasing
Mayor Keith Cain says people are keeping more of their business local, which is what’s largely responsible for the increase in Princeton’s sales tax revenue. Last month saw nearly 20,000 more sales tax dollars than in November 2009. And compared to this time last year, the city is up $42,000 dollars. Cain says it’s obvious people are shopping Princeton more. Cain says automotive industry promotions probably helped boost tax revenue back in October as well.
