Interstate 80 pileup leaves several injured

Several people were injured in an auto pile up on interstate 80 yesterday. Henry Moore, 58, of Kansas City was treated and released, Rafal Zarebczan, 30, is stable but closely monitored at St. Margaret’s in Spring Valley, and Mary Nahs, 59, of Peoria was taken to Illinois Valley Community Hospital and then to OSF Peoria where she is in good condition. State police say auto extrication was necessary on some of the vehicles at pileup between Route 89 and Spring Creek exits they say involved nine semis and 15 cars. Witnesses say it looked more like 30 vehicles and that up to ten ambulances were on scene.
