Dahl replacement to be sworn-in

A first time Illinois House member is already leaving her post, for another. 75th District seat holder Sue Rezin, newly elected in November, will be sworn into the state senate this evening to fill a 38th district vacancy created by Granville Republican Gary Dahl. Dahl says he retired earlier this month in order to spend more time with his family. An Illinois Senate press release states the Rezin was selected after a “extensive interview process of nine candidates.”
