Christmas Eve car crash kills former LaSalle-Peru area man

An Aurora man died in a car accident Christmas Eve. Michael Ariano, 48, formerly of the LaSalle Peru area, was westbound on Interstate 80 near LaSalle when he lost control of his car, rolling it several times. Ariano was pronounced dead at Illinois Valley Community Hospital.
