Bureau County Metro Center pool closed for 24 hours

The swimming pool at the Bureau County Metro Center in Princeton is closed Wednesday due to what Metro Center management is calling “an incident”. Metro Center officials say in order to be in compliance with Center for Disease Control guidelines, the pool needs to be closed for 24 hours for proper disinfection and protection of the health and safety of swimmers. Metro Center members can use the outside pool at Alexander Park until the Metro Center Pool re-opens Thursday at 5:30 am.
