Dixon Police rule infant's death a homicide

Police have ruled the death a northwestern Illinois infant a homicide. An autopsy shows three-month old Tamari George of Dixon died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head. George died last Thursday at a Rockford hospital. The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is assisting police with the investigation into the death. So far, no arrests have been made.
