LaSalle teen still in critical condition after auto accident

A LaSalle teenager remains in critical condition after a two-vehicle collision in Ophir township Monday. Victoria Hamiel, 17, was the passenger of a car southbound on East 8th Road when it was struck by an eastbound vehicle on Route 52. Hamiel was taken by LifeFlight to Rockford Memorial Hospital.
