Citizens wins 2011 Community First Partnership Award

Citizens First National Bank has been named the winner of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago's 2011 Community First Partnership Award, which ultimately put $10,000 into the Festival 56/Princeton Theatre Group coffers.  The FHLB of Chicago recognizes outstanding achievement in affordable housing and/or community economic development by a member bank and a non-profit community organization, which work together to revitalize communities in Illinois and Wisconsin.  Citizens First National Bank, a member of the FHLB of Chicago, has supported Festival 56/Princeton Theatre Group since its inception in 2004.  Members of Citizens and FHLB of Chicago, along with Festival 56/Princeton Theatre Group supporters and members of the community, gathered Wednesday in Princeton to witness the announcement that Citizens and Festival 56/Princeton Theatre Group had been named the 2011 Community First Partnership Award winners.  Citizens First National Bank President/CEO Tom Ogaard accepted the crystal plaque on behalf of Citizens, and Festival 56's Artistic Director Dexter Brigham accepted a similar plaque, along with the $10,000 check.  Brigham says the money will go to good use.
