Tiskilwa girl who had gone missing is found safe

A 10-year old rural Tiskilwa girl who had been reported missing from her home Tuesday evening was found unharmed later that night, according to Bureau County Sheriff John Thompson.  He says emergency personnel searched for about three hours before finding her.  Thompson says the girl was found at 11:15 p.m., about 100 feet from her home near a grove of pine trees.  She was unharmed, and there was no indication of foul play, the sheriff said.  She was

found to be damp and dirty and was taken to Perry Memorial Hospital.  She was released to her family following a medical assessment and an interview with investigators.  Thompson says while no foul play is suspected, as in all cases of this nature, the Illinois Department of Child and Family Services has been notified of the event.
