Fiegenschuh resigns as Princeton City Manager

Princeton City Manager Jeff Fiegenschuh is leaving after nearly four years on the job.  He’s resigning to take a village administrator’s position in Shorewood, a town of 17,000 near Joliet.  Fiegenschuh beat out 100 other applicants for the post.  His last day will be November 11^th.  Fiegenschuh left Iowa to come to Princeton in November of 2007.  Mayor Keith Cain says the city will use a search firm to help find a replacement for Fiegenschuh.  He hopes to have a replacement named by February.
