Peru auto parts plant expanding

Construction on the Eakas Corporation's expansion in Peru is set to begin next week.  Project manager Joe Harrold says the plastic auto parts plant is doubling in size and bringing 25 jobs to the Peru area.  Governor Quinn announced last month the plant would benefit from a $35 million investment from the parent company and a $725,000 investment from the state.  Harrold

says it'll take a year to get the new auto parts imprinting line running.
