Single-vehicle accident takes the life of a Lowpoint woman

A Lowpoint woman is dead from a single-vehicle accident late Tuesday night.  The Marshall County Sheriff's Department responded to a 911 call reporting a single-vehicle accident on County Road 800 North, about a mile west of Route 89 near Varna.  EMS found an unresponsive woman in the vehicle.  28-year old Brooke Bruell of Lowpoint was pronounced dead at the scene.  Authorities believe Bruell was traveling westbound on County Road 800 North when her vehicle veered into the right side ditch, where it traveled about 350 feet before striking a concrete bridge head-on.  The vehicle then tumbled and rolled, coming to rest on its side.  It's not known if Bruell was wearing her seatbelt.  An investigation continues by the Marshall County's Sheriff's Department and Coroner's Office.
