Three arrested after burglary and search in McNabb

Three men are in three separate jails facing burglary charges after a break-in, traffic stop, and manhunt over the weekend in Putnam County.  It began before sunrise Saturday morning when police stopped 19-year old Cody Donnelly of Tonica on the McNabb Blacktop.  With him were 23-year old Christopher O’Shana and 18-year old Nicholas Rick of Oglesby.  Police believed the trio had broken into a business in McNabb.  Donnelly and Rick were arrested but O’Shana fled into a cornfield.  He was found at about 10 am and arrested for burglary and obstruction of justice.  Donnelly and Rick face two counts of burglary, as police believe they broke into another business the day before.  The trio was separated with one each taken to the Bureau, La Salle, and Putnam County Jails.
