One local day care facility merging with another

Zearing Child Enrichment Center Executive Director Andrea Anderson and Learning Ladder Director Heidi Lott announced Monday that the two childcare centers will merge. A staff meet-and-greet occurred last night and a meeting for parents of ZECE children will be held tonight. Meetings with Ace employees and community parents have already taken place. benefit the community.  After the facilities combine ZCEC will have approximately 140 to 160 children and all eight full time and six part-time staff from Learing Ladder will be hired on at Zearing. Anderson said this merger will help bring quality care for the children.  The target date for the first day of the merger is November 28.
