Princeton Elementary planning for the future

The PES District’s twenty-four person Strategic Planning Committee met last night to begin the process of setting goals and a direction for the school for the next year. The committee, consisting of board members, administration, faculty, staff and parents, used the SWOT Analysis method to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the district.  After reviewing the results of the analysis, each committee member then voted on those areas

they felt deserved the most attention. Superintendent Tim Smith will then compile and prioritize the areas according to the votes.  Steve Malinsky, a retired school superintendent, facilitated the process for no pay except for a meal and some mileage.
