State Representatives hear testimony from EMS workers.

Approximately 40 people attended the Illinois House of Representatives Emergency Medical Services, or EMS, Funding Task Force Hearing last night at the Bureau County Metro Center in Princeton.     This was just one of twenty meetings held around the state. State Representatives Don Moffitt, who co-chairs the EMS Task Force, and Jerry Mitchell were available to listen to EMS stakeholders and organizations. EMS personnel from several communities all showed up to express concerns and offer ideas on how to

improve the EMS system. Moffitt came away with some reoccurring themes.  The Task Force is charged with submitting its recommendations to the General Assembly and the Director of Public Health in a report by January 1, 2012.
