Dover fire destroys semi

A Mack truck is a total loss after a pre-dawn fire yesterday morning in Dover.  Malden firefighters were called out shortly after 6 am to the home of Rudelcindo Guitierrez on the south edge of Dover on Route 34.  They put the blaze out in about 15 minutes, but the truck, belonging to owner-operator Guitierrez, was a total loss.  No word yet on what caused the fire, which is believed to have started in the semi’s engine compartment or near the dash.
