Tax levy and bonds top discussions at Park Board meeting

A Public Hearing pursuant to the Bond Notification Act was held Monday before the regular meeting of the Princeton Park District Board. Also on the docket for discussion was to adopt the annual abatement ordinance of the 1.8 million dollar general obligation bonds and to revise the 2011 Tax Levy. The board will adopt the tax levy on December 18. The board also agreed to take steps to solicit bids for selling general obligation bonds. The bids have to be returned and presented to the board by the next regular meeting on December 5th.
