Princeton Police release October activity report
The Princeton Police Department’s activity report is out for October. Chief Tom Root reports his officers responded to a total of 979 calls during the month, with 34 ambulance assists, two fire assists, 15 police assists, answered 18 alarms, handled five funeral escorts, 14 thefts, four criminal damage calls and 61 motorist assists. Officers made 39 traffic arrests and 20 non-traffic arrests. Eighty-six warnings were issued in October, and eight parking tickets were handed
out. Three people were arrested for theft, two for drug possession, four for paraphernalia and one disorderly conduct. On the road, five people were arrested for DUI, five for speeding, two for no valid driver’s license and four for driving on a suspended or revoked license. Princeton Police handled 17 accidents during the month of October.
