Princeton Park District Board talks money

princeton-park-district-logoThe Princeton Park District Board talks additional money at their meeting Monday. Princeton Park District’s 2011 tax levy depends on whether Perry Memorial Hospital is required by the state to pay taxes. If PMH loses it’s tax exempt status, the park district’s levy would increase to 2.1 per cent or an additional 30-thousand dollars. Executive Director Elaine Russell recommended to

the park board to put the money into a fund in the bank and not spend it, just in case the hospital asks for the money back.  The Park District Board will adopt the levy at the December 5th meeting.
