Princeton man found dead along the Hennepin Canal

The investigation continues into the death of a Princeton man whose body was found along the Hennepin Canal in Bureau County.  The body of 49-year old Kevin Johnson was discovered Tuesday by an Illinois Department of Natural Resources employee west of the Interstate 180 bridge between Tiskilwa and Bureau.  Authorities say Johnson died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  They do not suspect foul play.
