Shoppers Urged To Support Small Business

It's the busiest shopping day of the year but not all Illinoisans are excited about hitting the stores.  Kim Clarke Maisch with the National Federation of Independent Businesses says those who don't want to brave the crowds may find Small Business Saturday more appealing.  It's the second year that small businesses have marketed the Saturday after Thanksgiving as a designated shopping day.  Maisch says shoppers looking for unique gifts and great customer service should stop by the small, local retailers in their communities.
