PHS Board accepts resignation of longtime golf coach

Credit was not due for two subjects at PHS.  Last year G.P.A. credit was approved for Band and Chorus by the Princeton High School Board of Education. But at last night’s meeting, the board voted 3-to-2 against approving G.P.A. credit for Physical Education and Driver Education. Board members Colleen Sailer and Al Taylor voted in favor of the measure. Sailer expressed her displeasure on the vote.  In other business, Assistant Principal Andy Berlinski announced the following students as December Students of the Month: Tiffany DeGuzman, Abby Jaques, Emmalee Sears, Hunter Schultz, Emily Willis, and Alyssa Thompson.
In personnel matters, after twenty plus years in the PHS golf program, Brian Church’s resignation was accepted and Don Smucker of Tiskilwa was approved as Custodian.
