Kinzinger files re-election petitions

Congressman Adam Kinzinger is running for re-election.  The first-term congressman, who has been representing the 11th District, has filed his petitions for the newly-redrawn 16th District with the Illinois State Board of Elections.  His district includes La Salle and Ottawa.  With the new district maps, the Republican primary in March will pit Kinzinger against longtime conservative congressman Don Manzullo.
