Two Charged in Death of Ottawa Woman
Two people are going to prison for an Ottawa woman's heroin overdose death two years ago. Seventy-four year old Donald Beal of Marseilles says he supplied heroin to 26-year old Rendelle Farrell of Ottawa. Farrell then gave the drug to 23-year old Chandra Pommier who died of an overdose on October 30th, 2008. Beal pled guilty Wednesday to unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and will serve a five year sentence. Farrell pled guilty today to drug induced homicide. She will serve a seven year sentence.
