New Jersey man jailed after I-80 stop near Utica

An Interstate 80 traffic stop has landed a New Jersey man in jail on drug charges. State police pulled over a vehicle being driven by John Griffiths near Utica Friday morning for improper lane usage. After a police dog picked up the scent of drugs, police searched the car and discovered 112 pounds of what they believe to be marijuana. Griffiths was charged with possession with intent to deliver and was taken to the LaSalle County Jail.
