Tax help on the way courtesy of IVCC

If you're not tax savvy, there is help in the area. Illinois Valley Community College is again partnering with United Way of Eastern LaSalle County to offer volunteer income tax assistance. The program runs Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 2 to 6 pm. IVCC accounting students and staff will be on hand in Room F-113 at the college. College Vice President of Learning and Student Development Rick Pearce says it's a win-win situation, as the community receives solid tax prep and the students get invaluable experience.
