Interstate 80 remains closed

Interstate 80 between Princeton and Ottawa remains closed. The state police say they aren’t sure when it will be reopened. Area police and fire fighters spent much of the night pulling people off the road and directing them to staging areas due to whiteout conditions and five to six feet tall snow drifts flowing into traffic. Tractor trailers have been put up in the Harper Wyman and Wal-mart parking lots in Princeton. Police say they were finding space for smaller vehicles.
