Local food and gas sales jump due to blizzard

Shelf stockers are keeping busy as the snow piles up. Local food and gas sales have jumped but the demand is being met. WalMart manager, Dave Jensen, says they have food to last the night. Mike McCall, Sullivan’s Foods manager, says they have been swamped but their shelves are still full. Both Beck Stations are out of bread but have plenty of other food items. And Beck’s manager Woody Partain says gas is selling particular well. In spite of the rush, store managers say shoppers have been behaving.
