IVCC tuition could be going up

Illinois Valley Community College students could be paying more for class this summer.  School officials say a proposed tuition hike is necessary to secure state grant money and allow levying for additional taxes.  They say the new 84 dollar per credit hour rate will still be one of the lowest in Illinois.  The state average is just under 100 dollars.
