Mautino pushing protesters at funeral bill

     State Representative Frank Mautino says 200 feet isn't enough.  The Spring Valley Democrat is co-sponsoring a state bill to increase the distance between protesters and funerals to one-thousand feet.  The bill would also expand the time restriction for protests at a funeral site to an hour before and after the service.  Illinois adopted its current law in 2006 when it and other states were responding to protesters showing up at soldiers' funerals to speak out against homosexuality.
