Risinger sets retirement date

     A recent statement from State Senator Dale Risinger indicating he wasn’t planning on finishing his current term…has been followed up quickly.  The Peoria Republican will step down in just ten days on February 28^th.  At 67, Risinger says he want to get to know his young grandchildren better—ages 8 months to 8 years.  Risinger ran uncontested last November and served his post in the 37^th district for the past eight years.  State Senator Dale Risinger will step down in 10 days.  The Peoria Republican issued his letter of resignation yesterday…he says he want to spend more time with his grandchildren and family.  Risinger served his post in the 37^th district for the past eight years.
