Area senator says gun ownership is private

 As Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan continues to push for the disclosure of firearm owners…several state senators are pushing back. Senator Sue Rezin, whose district includes part of Bureau county and most of LaSalle county, is sponsoring a bill to safeguard gun owner's privacy. She says releasing the names and addresses of gun owners is a massive intrusion of the second amendment right to own a firearm.
