Investigation continues into cat burning

An investigation continues into a Marshall county animal cruelty case.  A 16-year-old Lacon boy faces felony charges for killing a cat by setting it on fire.  He was arrested and arraigned earlier this week in juvenile court.  Police say a seventeen year old cat was given to someone to be put down humanely but was instead taken to a rural Lacon home where it was covered in gasoline and set on fire.
