Construction will redirect traffic

     Area Interstate drivers are going to have to take the low road soon. Construction is expected to start on I-80 between the I-180 exit and Spring Valley next Monday, weather permitting. The Illinois department of transportation says that stretch of road will be resurfaced and six bridges will also be replaced. “D” Construction of Coal City was awarded a 22 million dollar contract to carry out the project. Transportation officials say traffic will be redirected to routes six and 89.
