Dust off your fishing rod

Trout season is just around the corner. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources stocks more than 60-thousand rainbow trout each spring where trout fishing is permitted in season. Anglers must have a valid state fishing license and an inland trout stamp. Both are available at DNR Direct license and permit locations, including many bait shops, sporting goods stores and other retail outlets. For more information go to dnr.illinois.gov.
