New faces for an area hall of fame

Illinois Valley Community College’s hall of fame has grown by five. The 2011 inductees are: James Bergana, the longtime director of the Northwest Special Educatioin Co-op; former state senator Gary Dahl; Dr. Rose Marie Lynch, an IVCC journalism teacher for 32 years; Tom Walsh, 19 year CEO of Illinois Valley Celluar; and the 1958-59 IVCC-LPO basketball team.
