Delays expected from road work

State officials say you might get held up on interstate 80 tonight. The Illinois Department of Transportation says sign trusses will be replaced around the I-80—I-39 interchange at night through Thursday. They say to expect 15 minute delays to allow the removal or erection of a truss. IDOT says the contractor, GFS Fence, Guardrail & Signage, Inc. of Huntley, IL, was contracted for 313 thousand dollars to complete the project.
