Area roadwork continues

     Area interstate drivers can expect more roadwork this week.  The Illinois department of transportation says new beams will be erected for the Plank Road Bridge over I-80 tomorrow and Thursday.  Officials say traffic will be redirected to county roads via the plank road exits.

The Bureau County Highway department is also reminding that the Plow Creek Bridge in Arispie Township, located on 1925 E Street, has a weight posting of 3 tons.  They say to keep postings in mind as traffic increases.  Questions can be directed to the Arispie Township Road Commissioner, Curt Dugosh, at 815/303-2055.
