Lovejoy party continues

The 200th celebration for famed abolitionist Owen Lovejoy continues this week. Sparky and Rhonda Rucker will be performing their program “Following the North Star” at the Princeton Public Library tomorrow night at 6:30. Program Specialist LuAnn Salz says the Ruckers' performance gives an unmatched perspective into the songs and stories of slavery, abolition and the Underground Railroad. The Ruckers have performed all over the country including the Kennedy Space Center and the Smithsonian Folklife Festival. Tomorrow’s event is another feature in the library’s year-long Lovejoy commemoration.
