IVCC students raising funds for Japan victims

Area students have been raising funds to help Japan in the wake of a natural disaster. The Illinois Valley Community College diversity team collected over 2200 dollars from the colleges international club, transformed student Christian organization and the gay/straight alliance among others. Japan is still suffering from the devastating effects of an earthquake and tsunami earlier this month.
