Zoning Board meets again on wind farm

     The extensions are denied. On a three to two vote by the Zoning Board of Appeals last night, a motion by Kerry Jaggers was passed to recommend denying extensions of conditional use permits for Walnut Ridge Wind Farm. Project Manager for Walnut Ridge, Keith Bolin, says he felt the proceedings went well.  Deb Anderson, one of the objectors from Big Sky Wind Farm near Ohio, testified earlier to shadow flickering and noise problems. She was pleased with the vote.  The recommendation will now go on to the Zoning Committee’s agenda. Their next meeting is Monday, April 4.
