Putnam County has one of the higher voter turnouts in the area

Putnam County had one of the higher voter turnouts in the area.

Granville, Hennepin and Magnolia all had contested races for village trustees in Putnam County. The three top vote-getters for Granville were Jimmie Pettit, Sean Coleman and Lucian Verda. Hennepin saw Teresa Clausen, Karyn Christiansen, and Clayton Zellmer collect the most votes. And Magnolia will seat Debra Price, Julie Crew, and Della Fox as their trustees.

In other Putnam County races, the Henry-Senachwine Consolidated Unit #5 School Board will include Jereen Mercer, Sibyl Schrock, and Michelle Gibson. And Putnam County School District #535 Board will seat Adriane Shore, James Alan Gibson, and Laurie Glenn.

Putnam County chose David Mallery, Brandon Evans, and Michael Driscoll for IVCC Board of Trustees.

Voter turnout in Putnam County was about 34 percent.
