State Police release activity report for March

Illinois State Police District 7 troopers made 50 criminal arrests in March. Twelve were taken into custody for being wanted on outstanding warrants. 44 D-U-I arrests were made and 27 arrests for other alcohol related offenses. 910 traffic arrests were made and 1293 written warning issued. 268 drivers were ticketed for speeding and 261 were cited for seat belt violations. District 7 troopers handled 17 traffic crashes in March, resulting in no fatalities.
