Details released on Spring Valley accident

Details have been released on Monday’s motorcycle and car collision in Spring Valley.  Two 14-year old boys on the motorcycle were injured and taken to St. Margaret’s Hospital.  The accident happened just after 3:30 at the intersection of Third and Spalding streets.  Spring Valley Police say the boy driving the bike eastbound went through a stop sign and into the front-right side of a southbound car driven by 71 year old Barbara Bellettini of Spring Valley.  The teen driving the motorcycle was ticketed for driving without a valid license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, disregarding a stop sign and improper operation of an off-highway motorcycle.
