Zearing scholarships offered

Area students planning on attending the University of Illinois may be interested in obtaining a Zearing scholarship. Delyte K. and Robert I. Zearing scholarship applications are now available at the Regional Office of Education. Any Bureau County resident who graduated from a high school in Bureau County or the Illinois Math and Science Academy, who has been accepted for admission at the U of I is eligible. The Zearing scholarship is administered through the trust department of Citizens First National Bank and the office of the Regional Superintendent of Schools for Bureau, Henry and Stark Counties.
